Automotive is one of the most complex manufacturing industry and in most of the country the progress of the automotive industry is directly linked to the country's growth. Developing country like India is expected to be third largest in design, manufacture and export of automobiles by 2026 as per the Automotive Mission Plan 2026. According to a recent study by the International Energy Agency (IEA), passenger car ownership in India will grow by 775 per cent over the next 24 years. India remains the world's largest producer and user of the two wheelers in the world. There is lot of effort being put on the powertrain side to make the engine more fuel efficient and environment friendly. We have moved from petrol and diesel engine to more efficiency Hybrid engine and now most of the manufacturer are working on their technology for battery vehicles. Hence there is lot of dynamism in the market and it is important to remain flexible, scalable and agile.
